Fox River Press
Editorial policy
What a page has to clear before it carries this name.
Sourced claims
Every factual claim that carries a number or names an institution cites a source a reader can open. On a site about money or the law, two sources. A page that cannot cite does not publish.
Named review
Pages about credit, debt, courts or the law are reviewed by the editor before they are indexed, and say so with a date. Pages about hardware and home energy publish under the quality gate and are sampled after the fact; those say so too.
Machine drafting, disclosed
Drafts are written by a language model. The page footer discloses this. The editor's review is of the claims and the sources, not a rewrite into a human voice, so the disclosure stays on every page.
Information, not advice
No page answers one reader's situation. Court and credit pages are legal information, not legal advice, and say so. Nothing on any Fox River Press site promises to improve a credit score, and the free tools stay free.
What we never do
No page is moved between sites to escape a penalty. No site buys an aged domain to borrow its history. No page is written to be the kind of thing that travels on anger.
Corrections
See Corrections. A corrected page keeps a note of what changed and when.
