Fox River Press
Advertising and affiliate links
Who pays for these sites, which today is nobody but the editor.
Today
No Fox River Press site shows advertising, and no outbound link earns a commission. The shop at chargeathome.shop links each item to its maker or a retailer with a plain link, and says so on the shelf.
When that changes
Advertising, when it comes, is served by an ad network under its own cookie policy, and the privacy page will name the network and link to its policy before the first ad runs. Pages about credit, debt, courts and the law will not carry ads until the editor has signed enough of them to stand on their own.
An affiliate program, when one is joined, is listed by name in the disclosure on every page that carries one of its links. The disclosure is computed from the links on the page, so a tagged link cannot appear without it.
What never changes
No maker or advertiser pays for a place on a list, a ranking or a recommendation. A paid relationship never changes a number, a source or a verdict on any page. Nothing on any Fox River Press site promises to improve a credit score, and the free tools stay free.
